The Crafter's Workshop and Dabbers

Have you ever tried to find the perfect patterned paper to do a layout of your child's school?Sometimes you just cannot find it. With a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop and a 2 dabbers I created my own patterned paper that will work with any school colours. Jess's colours are easy as any Christmas theme will be fine but here i have used the stencil on white cardstock and the red and green dabber to paint my own patterned paper. I also used the stencil and one dabber to write Jessica's name.

Bazzill Swiss Dots Cardstock

This cardstock by Bazzill is so nice. The texture is great. There are 3 colours in each range. I made this layout for the camp I went to in May.It uses 2 colours in the pink range. I have also used Kaisercraft stamps and pearls. The chipboard title is a range we also stock and any titles can be ordered. This one is in script font.

The Crafters Workshop Stencils

The Crafters Workshop have the best stencils in various sizes from alphabets, doodles, flowers and all sorts of things. We have an intensive range of stencils. They don't have to be used solely for papercrafts. I have used them to make cards and on layouts but they can be used with fabric also.
I have cut these flowers and leaves out of fabric and embroidered them to the fabric background.
I used a disappearing pen to trace from a stencil the doodle lines and then backstitches over them.
These stencils can also be used for patchwork projects and also for embroidering on children's clothing.
To view these stencils click on the Crafters Workshop in the column and see what other stencils they have. We have most of them.

Kaisercraft Bling and Pearls-by Jenna

Kaisercraft bling words will stick on most surfaces. Here Jenna has stuck it on an acetate covered book. The Kaisercraft pearls also stick on this surface. These are fabulous embellishments for all types of projects.
Many of the ribbons come from Cropworks.
The patterned paper is Basic Grey.

chipboard Titles

As you can see the chipboard title has been altered. Firstly I painted it with white Gesso and when it was dry lightly sanded it to get rid of all the bumps from the Gesso. Then I put a coat of Crystalina Kindy Glitz over the top. I used Gel Medium to glue it in place.
Usually when I put Crystalina over a white surface it shows up traces of pink. I have also found that you should not put Crystalina on something black as it shows up green. This can be black cardstock, painted surfaces etc. that is black.

Kaisercraft Rings

I love these coloured album rings from Kaisercraft. They come in a variety of colours. Check out their websites to see what colours they have.
It is nice to match the coloured ring with the project instead of using gold or silver rings.

Kaisercraft Stamps

I love these Kaisercraft Stamps. They are so versatile. This bigger heart was stamped onto the same colour Bazzill as the rest of the container. However, I cut the heart out both on the outside and the inside. I then glued it onto Basic Grey Patterned Paper. The smaller hearts were glued straight onto the patterned paper.

Kaisercraft

This company makes fantastic products to use in your scrapbooking, card making or any paper craft you want to do.

Kaisercraft sell an amazing number of products including papers, off the page items and clear stamps. The clear stamps are a bargain when you look at how many you actually get. Keep them in between the acetate that they are packaged with and this helps them keep their sticky quality for future uses.
I have purchased a few folders of Kaisercraft clear stamps. I am currently using the Love set. It doesn’t need to be limited to Valentine’s Day. The set lends itself to many different cards and layouts.

The other must have, to go with these clear stamp sets, is the Kaisercraft Clear Stamper. This great little gizmo has acrylic bases which your clear stamps self adhere to. This is good in itself as that means no more tacky glue or other mess to mount the stamps for use. The other great thing is that it comes with a handle which just slides on and off the acrylic base. Using clear stamps this way also helps you with your projects as you see exactly where to place your stamp – no more guessing or incorrect placement

Rose-Anne from Cropworks is able to get all the Kaisercraft products. Just contact her with your orders or queries.

Keep smiling and until next time …

Chalks

These chalks are great to use with the VersaMark pen and pads to shade any colour what you wish. Just stamp or trace with the Versamark product and then using an eyeshadow applicator, shade over the VersaMark with the colour chalk of your choice. These and the VersaMark products lead you to a multitude of colours and you don't have to spend a fortune getting all the colours you want.

VersaMark Pads

These small VersaMark Cubes sell for $3.95 and the larger pad sells for $14.45. These are great for stamping and embossing. They can do much the same thing as the pens.
Another use for them is to stamp and then shade over them with chalk to give the appearance of different shades of ink. So handy to have in your stash.
