Bra Purse

Here is the Bra Purse that Jeanette Osborne made. She made the purse from a bra and sewed all the decorations on by hand. This was auctioned at camp for Breast Cancer. It went for $62. WOW what a great contribution towards such a worthwhile cause.

Cropworks Retreat - The Bra Parade

We had a fantastic time on the weekend with the first Cropworks Retreat. The retreat was to raise funds for Breast Cancer. We raised over $300 and had lots of fun. The theme for the weekend was pink and one of the challenges was to decorate a bra. The slide show below will show you what we came up with. Thei is just a taste of what we got up to and I will post more later in the week.

Family from Paper Inklings

Adirondack Dabbers

These paint dabbers are fantastic. No need to have a brush with their foam caps and no need for water unless you are splatting like I did on these pages. They come in so many colours and metallics. Cropworks has the whole range of colours.

Ribbon

This chiffon ribbon comes in a few colours. It is very easy to weave through these holes.

Method.

1. On the back of cardstock draw in pencil the circle you wish to weave.

2. Punch holes with a crop-o-dial, eyelet setter, awl etc. Decide how far the gaps are and how long the ribbon showing will be.

3. Weave the ribbon through the holes and secure on the back with double sided tape so the ribbon does not come apart.

All the products used on this layout came from Cropworks.

Bazzil cardstock, Cappuccino, tomato, Basic Grey patterned paper, Scarlet letter , SALT flower, red chiffon ribbon.

Mini Album

This mini album is made out of 4 sheets of cardstock and patterned paper. The cardstock shape can be purchased from Cropworks for $1.50 a sheet. It makes a fantastic mini album. You can also make a square version of this. Keep an eye out for the square version.
