It is one of the best camps we go to and the girls do a wonderful job. The guest speaker is always fantastic on Saturday night.

Our website

Due to many issues in our life we have not been able to get our website up and running. However, it is not far away so please be patient. Melanie has been working on it and we hope to launch it in May. It will not have all the items we sell but there will be a small range to start with and as time goes on we will add more and more to it. So keep an eye out in this blog for when it will be operating.

The Crafters Workshop Stencils

The Crafters Workshop have the best stencils in various sizes from alphabets, doodles, flowers and all sorts of things. We have an intensive range of stencils. They don't have to be used solely for papercrafts. I have used them to make cards and on layouts but they can be used with fabric also.

I have cut these flowers and leaves out of fabric and embroidered them to the fabric background.

I used a disappearing pen to trace from a stencil the doodle lines and then backstitches over them.

These stencils can also be used for patchwork projects and also for embroidering on children's clothing.

Jessica's version of the Previous card

Jessica our 6 year old card maker made this card using the same technique as the previous card.

Her mother drew the flowers for her but Jessica cut them out and glued them on the card and pasted the centres in and stamped the image.

Kaisercraft and Basic Grey Card by Melanie

Melanie made this card using Basic Grey paper and SALT cardstock. She also used a black slick writer to draw the flowers on the card.The sentiment was done using a wooden Kaisercraft stamp with Pinecone Versa Color. All papers were stuck down using Gel Medium.

Classes for Children

Cropworks does classes for children of any school age. Jessica is 6 years old and in 1st class at school. This is the card she created while at my place last week. She has used Kaisercraft stamps, Quick Quotes Patterned paper, Chrystallina Kindy Glitz and Versa Color Inks.

When she stamped the 1st time her sentiment wasn't fully covered so she decided to go over the stamped sentiment in a colouring in pencil. How cleaver is she.
