Kaisercraft products and Bazzill

This is one of my favourite mini-albums I have made. I love the style as you can make them a particular theme and they can stand in a bookshelf or on a table. They are also a wonderful way to use up all the little bits and pieces left
over from other projects. I have made quite a few of them already. This album was made using Bazzill cardstock, SALT chipboard and Kaisercraft patterned paper, stamps and embellishments.
Check out Rose-Anne's blog for more pages from this album.

This album has been made with Bazzill cardstock and the patterned paper is from Crafter's Workshop. The flowers are from SALT and the ink is Versa Color Cubes.

Cuttlebug and flowers

Another very quick and easy card using the Cuttlebug Folder and a few flowers. These flowers are produced by SALT.
The small flower has a Kindy Glitz dot in the centre.
Another colour combination that I have always liked. My daughter used to have a dress whens he was little in pink and orange and it always looked bright and fresh.

Cuttlebug and Kaisercraft Stamps

Just a quick card using the Cuttlebug Folders and Kaisercraft love stamps.
I have only inked using Versa Color cubes the you on the folder as that is the main word. The love is part of the long line that I cut off.
I have always loved yellow and mauve together. Complimentary colours.

Cropworks Crops 2009

Cropworks Crops for 2009

Happy New Year. I hope 2009 will be a good year for us all.
Due to unforeseen/unavoidable circumstances we have had to move our crop to another venue and I am sure we will have a good time there. It will be at Beaumont Hills Public School.

February 13th,14th
March 13th,14th
April 17th,18th
May 22nd,23rd
June 19th,20th
July 24th,25th
August 21st,22nd
September 25th,26th
October 16th,17th
November 20th,21st

Cost: $15 for one night or day. $25 for both.
Time: Friday Night 4:30pm -midnight. Saturday 9:30am -4pm.
Where: Beaumont Hills Public School.
Address: The Parkway. Beaumont Hills.
Contact: roseannemon@yahoo.com
Bring: Dinner or lunch. Scrapbooking/Stamping projects.

The cost you pay will cover tea, coffee, supper, morning and afternoon teas, the venue and a lesson. Donations will be given to a charity from monies left over.

If you bring somebody who has not been before you will come for free for that week.

I send out e-mails the week prior to the crops so you can let me know if you are coming. This helps with catering and organization of furniture. You can either phone or e-mail the reply. Sometimes this is not possible so don’t worry if you can come at the last minute, you will be welcome.

Cropworks will have a portion of their shop there for you to buy items. Such items include cardstock, patterned paper, adhesives, inks, embellishments etc. If there is anything you want me to bring please let me know so I can include it.

A little about where we will be.
You can drive up and park outside the staff room door if you want - in through a gate and between poles under a shelter. There are toilets (clean) and kitchen facilities. There are low lounge chairs for people to 'rest/chat' on.
There can't be any evidence of alcohol consumption left either so you will have to take all incriminating evidence with you.

There's also a coffee machine where you can pay $2 for coffees/hot chocolate in different forms (cap; latte etc). There is also filtered water. Kitchen facilities include refrigerator, 2 x microwaves, sandwich maker, toaster etc
For directions on how to get to the school go to http://www.whereis.com.au/
I am looking forward to this year and I hope to see you there.
Best Wishes from
Rose-Anne

Blog Award

Thank you Libby for giving us this lovely award. Part of our attitude towards our customers and friends is to show love and understanding and show we care. Through scrapbooking we have made some lovely friends, met lovely people and helped charities along the way.

Fiskars Punch

These Fiskars Punches are so versatile. They can be used on card for short distances and can also be used on scrapbooking pages as they have marks that indicate where the punch should go on the card as you move along.
These Fiskars punches can be ordered from Cropworks at any time. We don't stock them in but can usually obtain them quickly and easily.
The sentiment is from Kaisercraft Love Stamps.

Metallic Cardstock Card and Kaisercraft

I bugged the Gold Metallic Cardstock and lightly sanded it to give the 2 tone appearance. I glued it onto black cardstock and the ribbon is velvet. The sentiment is a Kaisercraft Love Stamp and it has been stamped using Gold Versa Color and then popped up on the ribbon.
This would make a good Valentines card for both male and females.

Debbie's Layout using Grungeboard

I know Tim Holtz Grungeboard has been around for a while but I love what Debbie has done with the Elements. The cardstock is Bazzill Bling and the patterned paper is Basic Grey( old range but still nice). The flourishes and the heart have been inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

Libby's Clock

Check out Libby's version of the small clock. It looks great also.
I made this especially for Joshua who just loves trucks. I bought the raw clock and stickers from my favourite scrapbook shop - Cropworks. Josh is 2 and is keen to learn lots of new things. I made the 12 and 6 hours as trucks and the 3 and 9 as construction hats. I actually used a protractor to work out where the numerals should go. I only had a black and white photo at the time but that can be easily changed. It was a bit of fun to make. It has little stands at the back and would look great in an office or somewhere similar with family photo in it.

Kaiser Clock by Melissa Duck

I met Melissa Duck at a scrapbooking camp last September at Wiseman's Ferry. It was her first camp and she was a beginner at scrapbooking. When Melissa saw this clock in a raffle she wanted it and you guessed it she won it. With no help she took it home and made it up using Kaiser papers. This is how it turned out. My thoughts " If she is a beginner then imagine what her work will look like when she is experienced." Well done Melissa.
Cropworks sells all these clocks both small and large. They make a lovely gift for any age.

Cuttlebug, Kaisercraft & Core’dinations

I just love Core’dinations card. You can do so many things with it- sand it (distress), tear it or antique it. The card is colour core which means it coordinates with the surface colour and not white. I have combined it with Kaisercraft Love clear stamp set. This card also uses the little green machine – the Cuttlebug (which I just love to pieces!!)

Recipe:
Kaisercraft Clear stamp set: Love
Versa Color – Burgundy
Core’dinations – Vintage pack
Bazzill cardstock
A2 Cuttlebug Embossing folder: Love Language
Ribbon
Adhesive

You can purchase all of these products (the Cuttlebug Folders are by order) from Rose-Anne at Cropworks.

Kaisercraft

This company makes fantastic products to use in your scrapbooking, card making or any paper craft you want to do.

Kaisercraft sell an amazing number of products including papers, off the page items and clear stamps. The clear stamps are a bargain when you look at how many you actually get. Keep them in between the acetate that they are packaged with and this helps them keep their sticky quality for future uses.
I have purchased a few folders of Kaisercraft clear stamps. I am currently using the Love set. It doesn’t need to be limited to Valentine’s Day. The set lends itself to many different cards and layouts.

The other must have, to go with these clear stamp sets, is the Kaisercraft Clear Stamper. This great little gizmo has acrylic bases which your clear stamps self adhere to. This is good in itself as that means no more tacky glue or other mess to mount the stamps for use. The other great thing is that it comes with a handle which just slides on and off the acrylic base. Using clear stamps this way also helps you with your projects as you see exactly where to place your stamp – no more guessing or incorrect placement

Rose-Anne from Cropworks is able to get all the Kaisercraft products. Just contact her with your orders or queries.

Keep smiling and until next time …
