This is a make and take I did at a crop yesterday. The crop was to raise funds for Riverstone Community Church Playgroup and was just fantastic. For $20 we got a 10 hour crop, afternoon tea (fresh homemade scones, chocolate fudge slice, homemade carrot cake, cheese and biscuits and a fruit platter), dinner (choice 0f 3 mains with baked vegetables and garlic bread plus dessert which was a choice of 6 items or you could have a taster plate with 4 small portions of different desserts) plus tea and coffee. It was great and Mel Rae did a fantastic job of catering, organising and running the event - Thanks Mel.
Rose-Anne had the mobile Cropworks Shop there as well and conducted this make and take class. It needs a title but I want to do a second page to go with it so I'll wait until I have done that page and then decide on a heading and maybe some journaling too.
This layout would also make a great Christmas layout. The patterned cardstock is available ony from Cropworks and the white is sort of a bumpy texture and really beautiful to work with. It's from Salt. All items are available from Rose-Anne at Cropworks.

Summer Themed Card
The Pink Elephant Challenge Blog has a summer theme going for their current Challenge # 28.Pop on over and have a look at what the design team have come up with - some awesome projects to inspire you. I realised I don't have any real summer themed stamps or images. So I decided to use the above image and this is the card I am entering into the challenge.
Recipe:
Opalescent card
Black Bazzill
Black leather finish card
Silver card
Stazon Black Ink
Judi Kins 2285 H stamp
Tombow pens
Heidi Swapp large rhinestone flowers
You can purchase the card stock, ink and rhinestones from Rose-Anne at Cropworks.
I hope you like my interpretation of the challenge. I'd love you to leave me a comment. :))
I've shared some cards recently featuring dry embossing. Rose-Anne has some Cuttlebug A2 Embossing folders for sale at the moment, so if you'd like to give dry embossing a try, contact Rose-Anne and see what specials she is currently running on a limited range of Spellbinders and Cuttlebug folders.

Cuttlebug Christmas Card
Here's another Christmas in July card that I have made.
Recipe:
Blue card for card base
Silver card for a mat
White card to emboss
Scraps of white card for snow
Kindy Glitz - Crystalline
A2 Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Snowflakes
Cuttlebug Combo - Ice Crystal
Cuttlebug Die - Snowflake #2
All products can be purchased from Rose-Anne at Cropworks.
This card was quite easy to make. Just run your white card stock through with the embossing folder. Then, using up your scraps of white card run through with the die and cut two or three so you have a nice selection. Cut the Ice crystal and adhere all die cuts to your card front. Mount on the silver and then on your card front.
Carefully lift each 'stem' of the crystals/flakes so that they're not sitting on the card front. Add Kindy Glitz. Go back and ensure that all 'stems' are up off the card front and leave to dry.
If you're one of those that needs to go back and check to see if it's dry and in the process you wreck your work try this - using a scrap of card, put some Kindy Glitz on it in roughly the same amount as you use for your project and leave to one side. Then when the urge takes you to check, check the scrap and that way you're not running the risk of ruining your work.
This would also look lovely with the Winter House folder and glue the small stars and snowflakes onto the top of the card with the Winter House on the bottom and then use Kindy Glitz to embellish it. I don't have that folder to experiment with, so if you try it I'd love to see what you come up with - email me.

Sketch Challenge Layout
On one of the scrapbooking groups I belong to, each month there is a sketch challenge. I finally got around to participating in it this month. The layout above is my interpretation of the sketch.
Whilst doing the layout I also managed to clean up my flowers, bling and chipboard - all nicely organised in self sealing bags and labelled (yes, I know I'm annal). However, it really does help me find things more quickly and I'm hoping to use more of my stash instead of continually buying more supplies. I know my favourite LSS won't have as much custom, but seriously I think I could open my own shop with all that I have LOL.
Recipe:
Kaisercraft flowers and pearls
Chipboard
Letters - K&Co-Kology
Basic Grey - Pheobe papers
Adriondack Acrylic Paint Dabbers - Lettuce
Bazzill card
You can purchase all the supplies from Rose-Anne @ Cropworks.
