Altered Tins and Boxes

I know these papers are older than the new ones out these days but I still like them. I love altered items. I suppose this is because I am into recycling.

Have a great week.

I just love the stencils from The Crafter's Workshop. We have all the new 6x6 and 12x12 stencils. I can hardly wait to use them.

I have used the diamonds one to make a border on a card I needed to do.

Chipboard Books

Keep looking for the 3rd book of my grandchildren which will feature soon, I hope. This Jessica book is girly to suit her personality.
This is the Cooper book up close. I love decorating these books. You can use up all your scraps and bits.

I love the Heidi Swapp Masks and have demonstrated them over and over again. They are so useful for cards and layouts and as you can see here, canvases. The alphabets are also good to use. You can chalk, paint, ink, draw with pens and even bleach over them. Use your imagination and just play like I did.

Altered Clock

This is an example of an altered clock that we will be doing at Peckys Crop on Friday night. I have included all the products that Cropworks sells that I used to alter the clock. Any product can be used but this is what I used on this clock-the clock isn't overly decorated as I didn't want it too complicated for the group to start with. Hopefully next week I will be able to post photos of all the ones we do on Friday night.

A Big Thank YOU

I would like to say a big THANK YOU to my friend Libby for getting this blog up and running and giving me the inspiration to do it. I would also like to thank her in advance for the lesson she is going to give me in doing other things in this blog. I appreciate the time and effort she has put into this. Both Libby and I are in the teaching field and we both lead very active and busy days at school and for her to put the time and effort into this at home is wonderful. I cannot thank you enough. Libby is also on my design team as she does fantastic OFF the PAGE projects. If you ever get o Cobbitty markets go and give her a visit and see what other talents she has.
Soon I will be running an introduction to my Design Team and you will meet other talented scrapbookers and stampers.
Keep watching.

REMINDER - Crop at Peckys 9 & 10 May

A Special Mothers Day Crop
Don't forget ladies, our next crop at Peckys is approaching quickly.
Friday 9 Mayfrom about 4pm to 12 midnight. Cost is $15
Saturday 10 Mayfrom 10am to about 4pm. Cost is $15
Both crops - if you are able to you are most welcome to come to both of the crops for a discounted rate of $25
Children are welcome to come and scrapbook and their cost is for the day $10 over the age of 6.They do need to be supervised and in the past we have had no trouble with the children. They have a wonderful day learning new skills and valued time with their mothers. I am a schoolteacher and I see how important it is to nurture the creativity side of children.
What do you get? Supper on Friday night and tea and coffee all night. Morning and afternoon tea and tea and coffee all day Saturday. It also pays for the rental of Peckys, which is a place for people with disabilities to go and learn all kinds of activities. This is a very worthwhile cause because it is government funded and like all places does not get enough funding to buy all the things they need. You also get a lesson both Friday night and Saturday.

I bring my mobile shop and there are always specials and new products. If there is something in particular you need, just phone me and I'll make sure I bring it along as I can't bring my entire mobile shop with me.

I'd love to see you there. Everyone is welcome. Please let me know if you can attend roseannemon@yahoo.com or 0419 231 918
