Mini Album

I have made heaps of these little mini albums at camps, school and crops. You need 2 pieces of chipboard for the covers and as many inserts from cardstock as you want. The covers are covered with patterned paper and decorated any way you wish. The ring holds them all together.
These chipboard covers can be purchased from Cropworks and they come with the holes already in them. They make a great gift for Father's Day or any other special occasion.

Tag Chipboard Mini Album

This little tag album is made out of chipboard and decorated with patterned paper and cotton tape which is fantastic as it is so strong and doesn't break.

Slideshow Mini-Book

A few full versions of the mini books that I love. There are so many variations to this. All you need is 2 contrasting sheets of patterned paper, 1 sheet of cardstock, 3 brads for the spine to keep the pages together and any other embellishment you desire. The tabs can be stamped as seen in the brown version, or with conchoes as seen in the pink one or they can have brads, eyelets, ribbons etc or just left plain or a sticker or alphabet or word. Your imagination is the limit.

All welcome both scrapbookers and stampers. My mobile number is also in the margin or it is int he post about the camp we are running in September.

Souffle Pens

Here is the first of the series of product descriptions and uses that Cropworks have found to be very popular.
The above pen sets are $26 from Cropworks or you can buy them as one colour at $3 each pen. The colours that can bought singularly include blue, aqua, green, grey, apricot, orange, pink, purple, yellow and white.
There is a saying around me with these pens" If you stand still too long I will use the Souffle pen on your skin."I love this pen as it writes on any surface and looks great when it dries. You can see where I have used it in the mini albums on the photos.
When you take the ball off the tip and write with the pen, the writing will appear very light. Do not go over the writing as when it dries it becomes darker and if you have gone over the original lines and missed then the 2 lines will appear when the pen dries.
Below is the write up produced by Sakura.
One-of-a-kind Pastels!

Just like the freshness of spring time, the color and raised line of Soufflé™ is used to revitalize handwriting or provide an innovative touch to paper crafts.
This three-dimensional (3-D) ink leaves a distinct impression. Not only is this ink pleasing to the eye, but to the fingertips as well. The finished look is a raised line for a remarkable style feature that you can feel. Elevate the status of handwriting or DIY paper craft projects. Selected surfaces for eye-catching results are non-porous surfaces such as plastics, coated papers, acetate, vellums and glass.
The only one-of-its-kind, 3-D ink colors of Soufflé™ are of soft pastels and white give a dramatic effect to dark backgrounds, and spring time accents to light colored surfaces.
Soufflé™ - 3-D opaque ink pen features:• A roller ball pen that is easy and comfortable to write with• Write slowly and allow to dry completely• A raised effect that is delicate and can be crushed-down• Use on dark or light backgrounds• Writes best on non-porous, clean, smooth surfaces
Soufflé™ 3-D opaque ink pens are available:Two identical pens packaged together & as a complete 10-color set.

Another Unfinished Mini-Album

This is a cute book and I adapted it from a very small version. I have used one 12x12 sheet of patterned paper per page. There are four pages in this mini-book.

The big flower is a large chipboard flower covered in patterned paper and fibre twirled around for the centre.

Yes i have used Gel Medium to glue everything in place.

Another Mini Album

A fun little mini-book about me. I haven't added any photos etc yet as i have been too busy. i make all these mini-books and don't get to finish some. Something to look forward to in my retirement.
This paper is obsolete now but i always like it so used it for me-I love flowers. The big flower is a Junkitz flower and we have all the colours. Junkitz is no longer which is a pity as they had some good stuff. I found these cute shoe laces so used them as ribbons in the spine.
This book is a good gift to give somebody who has just had a baby or for you to give somebody full of baby photos. It has many uses.

Faith Book

This 5 tier chipboard book was made by me and was covered in Crossed Paths patterned paper. The paper comes with Bible verses on them and they are so nice. I sanded the edges after the paper was glued on by my ever favourite Gel Medium that has so many uses. I must do a tutorial on that product soon.
I intend on putting my favourite verses from the Bible in this book next to an appropriate photos of my various family members.

Libby's Version of the Folder

This is Libby's version of the folder. She has used Main Street Papers, by Treehouse Memories, which are double sided and co-ordinate with a variety of prints in the range.
This folder is made out of a textured, white cardstock and hence Libby chose not to hide this nice texture by only putting the patterned paper in certain spots.
This folder has 3 rings and 2 chipboard covers as well as the 6 holed card holders.
Keep tuned for my version of this file-it is a wedding folder of my wedding which was 26 years ago-no handmade cards were given to me back then.

Various Views of the folder

Debbie chose her holder to be for her eldest daughter's birthday book.
This product can be bought from Cropworks and is produced by Salt Papercraft. It comes with the rings for the holes and 2 chipboard covers and 6 folded inserts for each month of the year.

File/card Folders

This is a new product that Debbie decorated for Cropworks using a range of K and Co products, ribbons of assorted names and flowers.

This file can be used to store cards, as a wedding planner or any type of planner, to store any item you wish.

I just love these castle mini books and am in the process of making a blue one for my grandson. I will post it when it is done.

A little about the 2 ones already posted.

Mauve One by Libby

I love the way she used the Buzz and Bloom chipboard shapes, Kaiser Diamontes, FTI ribbons, Crystallina Kindy Glitz, mini flowers and Time Holtz inks plus the paper is Main Street from Treehouse Memories( Melanie Maurer Agencies is a sole distributor in Australia for this paper company-if you want more information about her Agency and how to contact her e-mail me and I will pass on the information.) Here are a few more pages from Libby's book.
